Are you familiar with the Philippine mythology? In this series, you will get to know three intriguing goddesses! The third goddess of this three-part series is Anagolay, the Philippine goddess of lost things.
Anagolay is known as the goddess of lost things. She is the mother of the god of the sun, Apolaki. Anagolay is the only offspring of Lakapati, the goddess of fertility and Mapulon, god of the seasons.
Interestingly, the name Anagolay became internationally known when an asteroid was named after her. The name Anagolay was proposed by Filipino student Mohammad Alon and won among the thousand proposals from 85 countries submitted to Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC).
